Quarter & Half Marathon!

During the last week of school, Mitch Roman and I both participated in the CapCity Quarter and Half Marathon in downtown Columbus, Ohio with about 30 other Josephinum seminarians.

The race was loads of fun. At every mile marker there was live music being played, and we even had fans show up like our very own Alex Kowalkowski. Mitch ran the "full" half of 13.1 miles in 1 hour 37 minutes, while I ran "half of the half" or a quarter in 1 hour and 8 minutes. The ribbon on the quarter finishers medal said, "half the distance, all the party . . ." Currently, I'm training for my first half marathon, the U.S. Air Force Half Marathon in Dayton, Ohio (My dad served in the U.S. Air Force for 25 years), which will take place on September 19, 2015!

Running has turned into a slight hobby, but I might just like the bling! Hopefully, I will see you all at the 2015 Gaylord Alpinefest where I plan of running the 10K. . . . who would have thought I would be running? Certainly not me!
