Congratulations, Father Tyler!

Bishop Raica & Fr. Tyler processing out of the Cathedral.

Over the past five years we have been reading about Father Tyler Bischoff's postings on his adventures across the globe - the U.S., Europe, of course the City of Rome and the Vatican, and beyond - as a seminarian for the diocese on this blog, and now, he is a priest configured forever to the High Priest, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Although he is no longer a seminarian, his adventure as a priest has just begun. All of us, who have meet him, know that he is a gladsome man, and from his heart overflows the love and the joy of the Gospel, which flow into the hearts and minds of God's holy people. That joy, and that love, can also be seen in all his works of writings he gave us when he was so far away from the diocese. Somewhere it says, "you come to know a man by his writings."

Father Tyler has beautifully poured his passion into his detailed work, into each article, for us all.

My dear friends, that is what he will be doing for the rest of his life. Father Tyler will be pouring out himself for the sake of others, for the sake of the diocese, for the sake of Holy Mother Church. Congratulations, Father Tyler Bischoff! And, thank you for saying, "Yes to the Lord."
